Have been flying for a long time and Ive used many apps for flying. None are as comprehensive and useful as this app for addressing weather-related go/no go decisions.. Support has been excellent so far as well as taking input for improvement. Highly recommend.

Cant even use the app on my iPhone 4 because the notification pop-ups will not go away. The app just tells me I can select the menu at any time but wont let me do or see anything. A waste of $5.99.

Fast and easy to use, gives everything you need! Especially now that it even tells you what the preferred runway is and what the Crosswind will be On that runway!!!

The updates has made it quicker and with just the info you need , no baggage , pretty good

TakeOff is very effective for a professional or amateur aviator looking to get a complete picture of weather and NOTAMs. Must have features include: all of the prognostic and analysis charts you would find via aviationweather.gov, translated local NOTAMs and PIREPS, and an easy to glance interface for METARs and TAFs. Being able to set personal minimums with color differentiation makes identifying threats a nearly instantaneous process. By setting these mins to "alt required" rules, I can easily double check if an alternate is required. A great tool.

This is a fast and easy app to check weather and with the added value of headwind/crosswind calculations based on current METAR info and lots more. Well worth having for any pilot. It is easy to set up and allows you to set your own alert parameters in addition to the info it presents from TAFs, METAR and other sources.

I absolutely LOVE this app! I use another web interface for full briefings, but this app provides a fantastic way to see current conditions. Fast and simple without clutter! The developer is very responsive to suggestions and keeps adding features while still keeping the interface clean. This is a must have app if youre a pilot! Would love to see real-time winds at the field integrated if at all possible in addition to the hourly METAR info.

The user interface is fairly intuitive and presents a lot of helpful info. HOWEVER, the graphics section (weather maps, PIREPs, etc.) does not update in real-time. The latest graphics I have are from the day I downloaded the app. I have deleted and re downloaded but the graphics never update past the date the app is installed. I have tried contacting support several times but no response. For good and updated graphics till this app is fixed, get the Turbulence Advisory or Aviation WX apps

I love this app! I use it more than any other app on my phone. It instantly tells me the latest ATIS or weather for nearby airports or my favorite airports. It give forecasts, shows pictures of the runways, and much more. In a quick, easy to read glance you can tell ceiling, wind, temperature, crosswind component and barometric pressure. If you are a pilot, this app is a must.

This is my go-to app for local weather. Its fast and efficient and gives you one touch to find forecasts and radar. In my favorites is stored the airports I commonly fly to. It will also show you your weather along a route in the same clear and concise format.

This is my new favorite, go-to, aviation weather app. As a private airplane/ commercial helicopter pilot, this app instantly gives me all the weather information I need in a simple and easy to read interface. I hope the developers keep this maintained and updated for many years to come.

Fast and very nice visuals to see the weather at surrounding airports. It would be nice if the TFR information was pulled into the app. The web page is hard to read on the phone. This feature would be worth a lot to me and I would be willing to pay extra.
