TakeOff is very effective for a professional or amateur aviator looking to get a complete picture of weather and NOTAMs. Must have features include: all of the prognostic and analysis charts you would find via aviationweather.gov, translated local NOTAMs and PIREPS, and an easy to glance interface for METARs and TAFs. Being able to set personal minimums with color differentiation makes identifying threats a nearly instantaneous process. By setting these mins to "alt required" rules, I can easily double check if an alternate is required. A great tool.
